A letter from Josie the cat
Thank you all for finding me a pet human. He seems to be nice, but I am a bit wary of him; he being so big and much different from you girls. However, he has treated me well and has given the greatest of joys. He has a settee and I am in ecstasy sharpening my claws on it. Good designed sofas just for my felix brethren. He feeds me well enough and I always have a fun and happy tummy.
Yesterday he allowed me in the garden and I was in my element. After exploring the complete area I found a patch of dust and soil on the concrete. Here, with joyful abandon, I rolled myself many times delighting in the dirt.
My pet human seems a bit silly. He didn't think I could easily jump the 5 foot fence to the top of the lean-to shed. Well, I was up and away as I had access to one neighbour's garage roof and to another rumpus room. I had quite a view of several backyards. Of course, I now know where my paws are buttered and returned to my new home when my pet human got a bit worried and called me back. Called me! Since when has a beautiful tabby such as myself been called "Pusscat"! I asked you! Tut! Tut!
Will write soon, best wishes
Josie
