Cockatiel found near Glynburn Road

On Sunday 15th August, a cockatiel with grey body, yellow head and orange cheeks was found near Glynburn Road. He/ she is very friendly and healthy, and doesn't seem to make any whistles or talk.

Your help is required for the study on feeding behaviour and obesity

Obesity is a growing problem in dogs, and how, when and what we feed our canine companions may play an important role in what contributes to this problem. University of Adelaide Honours student, Tegan Hadley is currently undertaking a study on factors relating to feeding behaviour in dogs. She is seeking feedback from pet owners who can participate in an online survey. Cancer drug set to revolutionise the treatment of cancer in animals

Company QBiotics has announced their new drug EBC-46 will revolutionise local treatment of solid tumours in companion animals.  EBC-46 has been successful in the treatment of a diverse range of inoperable solid tumours in dogs, cats and horses.  In most cases tumour destruction occurred within days of treatment with rapid healing of the site and no significant side effects .  The chemical EBC 46 is extracted from the Queensland rainforest and is not currently available for general use.

The good news on easing the aches and pains of winter
