Adorable kittens for adoption

Looking for a feline companion or know someone who is? We have some kittens available for adoption. The kittens have been desexed, vaccinated, flea treated and dewormed. Congratulations to Dr David Mason

Congratulations to Dr David Mason who recently received the Meritorious Service Award. This is an award for the service to the profession given by the Australian Veterinary Association. Dr Mason was the only South Australian recipient this year for this nationally recognised award.

Million Paws Walk in Adelaide

On Sunday 17th May 2009, many paws and feet walked in the mud and puddles in an effort to raise money for the RSPCA.  Adelaide Animal Hospital entered a team of staff members and their pets to walk the 5km walk starting at Elder Park.

The Australian Veterinary Assocation has been monitoring the international outbreak of swine flu and has issued a media release to inform the public about the important veterinary aspects of the outbreak. At this stage it is a human health issue. 

Adelaide Animal Hospitals helps animals affected by Victorian bushfires

As we all know, the Victorian bushfires took their toll not only on residents of the southern Victorian area and their families, but also their pets, livestock and wildlife. Adelaide Animal Hospitals has donated $1500 to the Victorian Wildlife Fund and the RSPCA to assist with the rehabilitation of all the animals injured by the bush fires. Thank you to everyone who has donated bedding, food and other items for the homeless and injured animals.

 

Hills Pet Nutrition - safety and source of ingredients

"Pet food industry in trouble", a story recently aired on ABC's, The 7.30 Report highlighted cases of poisoning associated with contaminated imported pet foods. Further to this we would like to clarify that Hills Pet Nutrition products, the food we supply and recommend for pets, does not contain meat ingredients from China or Ireland.
